Electronic Trance

Something I came up with just to flush away the blocks in my mind. Writing, idea and any other kind of block that was in my head at the moment.

Here's the mini rant I wrote in about 2 minutes.

Each of them had their laptop and or their smartphones in front of their faces. The reflection of the screen in their eyes and their glasses are just fascinating. Some are browsing; others are just typing their time away. None. Not one of them looked up to see what was going on around them. Neither did they took any time to blink.

Then one shut his eyes for a few seconds. A few split seconds. The second that matters. Those few split second that he could never get back. His skin began to be void of colour. His heart felt like it could burst with anxiety. How could he have missed it? Why? Why did he even closed his eyes?

He blinked a few times. Yet nothing changed. He was there. He was alone. He was not like every one else. He was there. He was still there because he closed his eyes. He closed it when he was not supposed to. He closed it because he was human. Because the muscle in his eyes just could not stand it anymore. He was just a human.

Alone.

Solitary.
