Missing

I was surprised when I heard the news about the missing flight MH 370. When the media released the list of passengers and crews on board, my heart just broke. It was sad enough that it happened, but knowing it happened to the people that I knew seemed so far from my thought.

The soft sea breeze was soft against the piercing hotness of the beaming sun. Nevertheless the little girl in the cute panda one-piece swimming suit complete with a matching swimming cap was oblivious with her surrounding. Her chirpy voice and enthusiastic movement seemed to be as if she was trying to exaggerate everything to compensate for her inert pregnant mother beside her.

A plane flew by as tears began to pooled in the sockets of the mothers. The little one just smiled. “Goodbye daddy.” The little girl shouted. “Goodbye mister plane.” She chirped again. “Wherever you are daddy, I pray for you to be safe. I promise to take care of mommy when you are gone. I promise to take care of my little brother as well. Be in peace daddy. I will always pray for your safety. Your safety and happiness here and thereafter. Always and forever.”
